First, leather products should pay attention to moisture, otherwise, once the moisture is mildew, it will lose its luster and affect the fastness. If it is wet by the rain, immediately dry it with a dry towel and let it dry in a cool place. If it is moldy, use a brush to remove the dust, then wipe the mold with a cotton ball, or wipe with a light alkaline water, then wipe it with a dry towel and let it dry in a cool place. For long-term storage of leather products, wipe with a towel and 4% high-grade soap concentrate, then gently rub the water and dry it to prevent mildew.
Second, when using, pay attention to protect the leather surface, should prevent hard objects or sharp objects from scratching the leather surface. If it gets dirty, gently wipe it off with a damp cloth; do not rub it to avoid fading. When oil stains appear, you can use ammonia water to dilute with alcohol and water (1:2:30 ratio). If the oil traces cannot be removed at one time, repeat this method several times.
Third, the leather products should pay attention to anti-folding and crack prevention, do not expose to the sun, and avoid bake. When not in use, use hang and do not fold and store. If there is a small crack on the leather surface, apply a brush to the cracked area, then rub the chicken oil or duck oil and polish it. If the leather surface is cracked, wrap a layer of kraft paper on the wrinkles and iron it on the kraft paper with an electric iron. The temperature of the iron is at 40~50°C, not too high. When ironing, the iron should be kept moving; immediately after the hot, the kraft paper is peeled off, and it is picked up by the heat, pulling the wrinkles, and the mouth blows the light wind, so that it is quickly cooled and shaped.
Fourth, leather products can not be used to wipe the glazing with shoe polish. If you want to make it bright and soft, apply thinly and evenly on the surface with chicken oil or duck oil. After 10 minutes, wipe it off with a clean soft cloth. If you have the conditions, you can send the dyeing shop to clean the glazing, or buy the leather brightener from the store to clean the glazing.
